Robert Pattinson didn't look quite Oscar ready with his scruffy beard in LA yesterday. There's a

lot of talk about who will be his costars in New Moon, but at least for this week the focus is more

on joining in the award season's biggest night. He's been taking advantage of the pre-awards

festivities though tomorrow it's down to business with rehearsals. A year ago the Academy

Awards probably seemed like a lifetime away for the Twilight star, but what a difference a

runaway hit can make.
